This Performance is based on the myth of Akathun: the guardians of the tide.
Akathun — “The Guardians of the Tide” Once upon a time, long before humans divided the waters and the earth, three Guardians wandered between the worlds. High above the horizon they moved—travellers of wind and silence. The Eldest, towering and with eyes that reflected eternity, carried the memories of the oceans in her attire. Beside her walked the Younger, a fiery soul, keeper of the storms and the life born from them. And between them danced the Youngest, still close to the earth, listening to the whispers of roots, shells, and animal voices. Together they form the living balance between sea and land—emissaries of a forgotten world where magic, nature, and respect are one. When they appear, the world falls silent for a moment. Birds circle lower, the wind holds its breath. For all know: the Guardians have returned—to remind us that we are part of something greater than ourselves.
